Salaam and welcome!
Dubai has been pouring love into its parks recently. Last week, we delved into the limited-time souk at Blossoms Park in Nad al Sheba. This week, I’ve got two must-visit spots in Al Safa Park, which is underrated if you ask me.
Here are your weekend plans.
🍽 Eat This
Kebab Al Bastakiya, Al Safa Park
Nestled right in the middle of Al Safa Park, this small but mighty eatery is worth a visit.
There’s a playground right outside, and the wide glass windows allow you to watch them as you sip tea. The kebabs are juicy, and the prices are good.
☕ Drink This
The Reformatory Lab, Jumeirah
A new Australian spot just landed in Dubai. The brand is successful in Sydney, known for its bakery and excellent single-origin coffee.

🙂 Explore This
Luluyah Beach, Fujairah
Stunning, sandy, slightly rocky, super mountainous, and surely salty. Bring a picnic, or stop by a local cafeteria to grab a flask of Karak. Take in the calmness, because the tourists don’t know about this one.

❤️ Take the Kids Here
Ghoori, Al Safa Park
Only available until February 1st, this Emirati tea pop-up is serving up Emirati-style tea and desserts like Habbath al Hamra (a Custard-based dessert). Perfect for winter.
The kids can enjoy a painting session or the nearby grass and playgrounds.

Need dental work, but don’t want to spend an arm and a leg? I recently discovered Presidental Clinic. They charged us just 100AED for a tooth extraction, which is insane, and “up to” 3,900AED for an implant. Half the price that other dentists were quoting.
That’s all folks! Catch you next Friday.
