Salaam and welcome!

Despite the situation, the city of Dubai, and its people, soldier on.

Some people are betting against this city. Me? I’m hunting down the next specialty coffee shop I want to try.

Once again, I’m focusing on restaurants and coffee shops that are closed during fasting hours to give them the publicity they deserve. However, this is unfortunately the last of our Ramadan series. The good news is that Eid is on the horizon!

Here are your iftar and suhoor plans for the weekend.

🍽 Eat This

Hadoota Masreya, Ibn Battuta Mall

Craving a buffet? This Egyptian restaurant lays out a huge spread, from Molokhiya to Roasted Duck to Umm Ali. Make sure you book in advance, because they fill their restaurant early.

The Grey, Al Khawaneej

Not every day Jumeirah, Downtown, and Al Quoz, guys. Al Khawaneej has its own laid back vibe, and The Grey is a great way to experience it. Their coffee menu is seriously innovative. Don’t expect a cheap cup, though.

🧠 Dubai Cheat Code

Trying to save money on Coffee? I’m yet to find a better coffee under 10AED than Katrinas’s. They use single origin, medium-roast beans, too. None of the burnt rubbish. They’re expanding locations across the city, and although their coffee won’t blow your mind, you literally can’t complain with prices that low.
