Salaam and welcome!

There has been a lot of talk online about millionaires and billionaires moving from Western countries to Dubai recently.

(And we’ve also seen another spike in “Dubai is soulless” content. What a coincidence!)

While the media suggests that these billionaires are moving for lower taxes and a better lifestyle, our sources suggest that, in reality, they’re moving for the karak chai.

More on this story as it unfolds.

Here are your weekend plans:

🍽 Eat This

Sultan Saray, Sheikh Zayed Road

Listen, I’ve had my fair share of Turkish breakfasts, and this place might just be the best. Especially if you’re looking to wow visitors and friends. The presentation is great, but the quality of the food is even better. Worth every dirham.

Drink This

One Degree Café, Al Khawaneej

If you love specialty coffee and clean design, this is your spot. Tucked inside Last Exit Al Khawaneej, it’s equal parts café and calm retreat. The flat whites here are consistently excellent — best enjoyed outdoors in the early morning breeze.

Tip: Grab the coffee, then head to Qur’anic Park across the road.

🙂 Explore This

Mushrif Park Hiking Trail

One of Dubai’s most underrated parks. It’s absolutely huge, with multiple BBQ areas, playgrounds, cafes, prayer rooms, food trucks, climbing frames, and ziplines.

The hiking trail has acres of trees, shaded paths, and the sound of birds overhead. Whether you’re here for a morning jog or a quiet family walk, it’s a real-life forest inside Dubai.

❤️ Take the Kids Here

Jungle Bay Waterpark, Mina Seyahi

A compact, family-friendly waterpark with slides, splash zones, and a chilled vibe. It’s clean, safe, and perfect for little ones who want the thrill of Atlantis without the crowds and higher price tag.

🧠 Dubai Cheat Code

I’ve been using Zofeur for weeks now. They drove my car back and forth for its RTA test, and I regularly use them to collect my car from work and bring it home so my wife can use it. Total game changer.

See you next Friday!
