Found in Dubai | Edition 23

Salaam and welcome!

I know this newsletter is called “Found in Dubai”, but part of Dubai’s charm is how close it is to other cool places. Today, we’re exploring such places.

Here are your weekend plans.

🍽 Eat This

Neighborhood Food Hall (NFH), Motor City

Don’t know what you want to eat? I’m about to change your life.

There’s a hidden food hall in the heart of Motor City. Inside, you’ll find Burgers, Korean, Mexican, Sri Lankan, and Indian food. Big names like Udon Noodles, The Meating Room, and High Joint are all doing their thing. Go with a group if you can and order a little something from multiple restaurants.

Drink This

The View by Wave, Sharjah

Pack the kids into the car and get driving. The sun is shining, and the mountains are beautiful. The View is perched on a hill, right next to a historic fort. You get great views of Fujairah’s coastline, and there’s a hiking trail that begins right outside the restaurant.

Their coffee is great, and so is their food.

Wadi Diftah Natural Pool, Ras al Khaimah

On the way to (or from) The View, you could stop at this natural pool. Lots of greenery, nestled within the mountain range. The perfect rest stop on a road trip.

Souk al Freej, Nad al Sheba Blossoms Park

An underrated park in Nad al Sheba is hosting a limited-time Souk right now. Every day from 4:30PM until 10PM, experience authentic Emirati food and hospitality in a souk setting.
