Found in Dubai | Edition 20

Salaam and welcome!

The very first edition of Found in Dubai mentioned this place. I now believe it serves the best coffee in the city. Their food is pretty good, too.

But if you’re watching your budget, I’ve also found possibly the cheapest double-patty burger in Dubai, and it’s unreasonably tasty for what you pay.

Here are your weekend plans.

🍽 Eat This

Sam’s Burgers B70 / Sam’s Deli, Dubai Silicon Oasis

Listen. Their chicken burgers are 10AED, and their double-patty smash burgers are 15AED. You can upgrade to a meal (fries and drink) for just 7AED extra. Incredible value, and the smsh burger and fries are genuinely great.

Jultih Coffee & Roastery

Man, I really love this place.

They have designed the interior space well. Upstairs is work-focused, with lots of plugs, and three separate glass booths that are free to book for up to 2 hours at a time. I will be using those soon, I hope.

Their coffee? It’s the best I’ve tasted in Dubai so far, beating Espresso Lab and Two Neighbours for my top spot. Get the Cherry Candy beans if you want to taste coffee as you’ve never tasted it before.

I had to buy a bag and take those beans home with me.

Valley 77, Wadi al Amardi

Want a late-night drive-thru spot with a ridiculous amount of options? 77Valley is for you.

Drive up to SLAW, Knot Bakehouse, Mara Lounge, Saddle, Eleven Green, Tortilla, and more. They even have a pharmacy on-site, for some reason.

❤️ Take the Kids Here

UAE Flower Farm, Fujairah

I’m not letting you spend this whole winter in the malls. Get in your car and drive an hour to UAE flower farm, and experience the great outdoors!

You’ll see a huge array of flowers, peacocks, and horses. Entry is just 15AED, and you can buy flowers for just 3AED each.

30 eggs for 13AED? I used to avoid Viva’s eggs. They were kind of…dirty? But I visited again recently, and they’ve literally cleaned up their act. The eggs are coming in from Turkey, and they’re as clean as you’d expect them to be. They’re small eggs, but they’re also 13AED for 30.

That’s all folks! Catch you next Friday.
